The ‘smell-o-phone’: New device sends odours through smartphones with special Accessories' :

What do you feel if your friend is in some part of world and enjoying some food or chocolate of different odours you think “I should be also their and experience its odour's”,is now possible. In the futuristic technology communication has put another footstep to communicate with smell.Students of Harvard University are researching a new way to communicate through smartphones with odours under the direction of researchers at Paris-based facility Le Laboratoire. This technology may as easy as sending text message.

"The Ophone will permit us to send olfactory messages instantaneously and around the world,"

Le Laboratoire states in its project outline.

"The Olfactive Project is a collaboration between artists, designers, scientists and performers built on an old dream of a universal language,"

David Edwards, founder of Le Laboratoire.

"The idea was not just to reproduce an existing way of communicating, but to create a new language.

"We wanted to find a way of diffusing smells accurately and coupling those smells with images. It was these two ideas that formed the basis for the Ophone".

"The device therefore not only makes it possible to accurately receive and share smells but also pair them with images on the screen of an Android device."

If O’phone alive then we are able to share images of different food with their odours of cultural spices with emotions and experiences with olfactory sentences, paragraph and even essays with odours.
